This Privacy Policy explains how Vapolia ("we", "us", "Vapolia") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this mobile game (the "App") and the website blastradius-game.eu (the "Website"). We act as the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect and why
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
2.1 Local single-player use
When you play offline, the game runs entirely on your device.
2.2 Online multiplayer (optional)
If you choose to play online, you sign in through Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). We then process:
- an identifier and your nickname provided by the sign-in service;
- your match data
Legal basis: performance of the service.
2.3 Crash and diagnostic reports
We use a partner to receive technical crash and error reports so we can fix bugs. These reports contain the technical context of the error. They are not used to identify you.
Legal basis: legitimate interest.
2.4 Website
The Website is a simple presentation site. It uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (including IP address and browser user-agent) for a short period for security and to operate the service, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
2.5 App audience measurement
We measure how the App is used so we know what works and what gets in the way: games played and finished, the mode and level chosen, progress through the tutorial, screens opened. These statistics are what we use to decide what to improve.
The measurement relies on a random identifier specific to your installation. It is never linked to your game account, your nickname or your identity, it is shared with nobody, and it is renewed every 13 months. We use no advertising identifier and do not track your activity in any other app or on any website.
The data is collected and hosted on our own servers, in the European Union, with no analytics provider involved. It is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. Your IP address is neither stored nor logged: it is used only, in memory and in hashed form, to rate-limit abuse of the collection endpoint. The country comes from your device's own setting.
Under the conditions applicable to audience measurement, this collection does not require your consent. You can nevertheless object to it at any time in the App: Settings → About → "Help improve the game". The App behaves exactly the same when the option is off.
This measurement is not carried out in South Korea.

3. Service providers (processors)
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf and under contract:
- OVH Account and match data hosting.
- Apple (Game Center) — sign-in on iOS.
- Google (Play Games Services) — sign-in on Android.
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — crash and error reporting, hosted in the EU.
The audience measurement described in 2.5 involves no processor at all: it is hosted on our own servers.
4. International transfers
Some providers (e.g. Apple, Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers' data-processing agreements.
5. How long we keep your data
- Online account and match data: for as long as your online account exists; you can ask us to delete it.
- Crash and diagnostic reports: kept for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then deleted.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security purposes.
- Audience measurement: the installation identifier is renewed every 13 months; the statistics are kept for at most 25 months and then deleted automatically.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Regarding audience measurement (2.5): you object to it from Settings → About, which stops all collection immediately. However, since those statistics are tied to no identity, we have no way to find the ones that came from any particular person, and therefore cannot provide them to you or erase them individually (Article 11 GDPR).
7. Children
The App is suitable for a general audience but is not directed at children under the age required for consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age without appropriate consent.
The audience measurement described in 2.5 is not carried out in South Korea, whose rules require a legal guardian's consent below the age of 14.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date above reflecting the latest revision.
